A Message From The Chief
The Office of Capitol Police is a unit of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. As such, the Office is charged with the responsibility of protecting life and property within the boundaries of the Capitol Complex Improvement District located in Jackson, the Bolton properties in Biloxi and the State Service Center in Hattiesburg, MS.
Our goal is to provide excellent service and protection to the visitors, employees, elected and appointed officials within our jurisdiction, in a professional and courteous manner by performing every task with that goal in mind, we will surely achieve it.
