The Mississippi Department of Public Safety accepts subpoenas in accordance with state and federal law. MDPS will also accept service of subpoenas and pleadings on the agency via email: subpoenas@dps.ms.gov
Subpoenas duces tecum, petitions for review of breath test refusals, etc. may be served via email.
Subpoenas for personal appearance (trial, deposition, or hearings) should be served upon the appropriate Troop District Office in the manner the Troop Commander/Captain requires.
Court clerks should direct all subpoenas for trial for members of the Mississippi Highway Patrol directly to the appropriate Troop District Office.
